A couple of days back, Spice reportedly close to launching a new 5-inch phablet. Today, the Indian smartphone vendor, in partnership with Chinese company Coolpad, has launched the Spice Coolpad MI-515 and the phablet will be available through e-commerce and retail stores across the country for Rs 9,990.
Talking of specifications, the Coolpad MI-515 flaunts a 5- inch qHD IPS (540x960 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Other features on the device are a 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA secondary camera, in- built DTS audio support, 4GB of expandable internal storage and a 2,000mAh battery.
Connectivity-wise the device features dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS/ aGPS and on the software front, runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Priced at Rs 9,990, the Coolpad MI-515 will face stiff competition from the likes of other quad-core smartphones like Karbonn Titanium S1 among others.
