OwnFone The world's first personalised mobile phone

OwnFone is a mini mobile phone that just calls the people you need. Users simply need to press the name of the person they want to call. You can have up to twelve names on your OwnFone and it receives calls too.

It is rechargeable and in Shutdown mode the OwnFone is claimed to last up to a year without a charge.

The OwnFone, doesn't have a display or a keypad. This is really useful for children as parents can ensure that they get to call selected numbers and is also easy for them. Elderly can also benefit from simple design.

Users can design and order their OwnFones in three simple steps. It lets you select the number of namesyou would like on your OwnFone. You can also select the colour and style of your OwnFone.

To make a call, press the On/Off button until you hear the welcome tone. Wait for the blue light to flash slowly. Press a Name button to make a call.

The OwnFone rings and vibrates. Toanswer just press the Answer button.

The OwnFone comes pre-charged and is re-chargeable using the three-pin charger included. The charge will last about three days.

The device is just 7mm thick and weighs only 40 grams.

You can even divert calls from your main number to your OwnFone so you never miss a call.

OwnFone is only programmed to work in the UK and Northern Ireland. However, the company has announced its plans to launch it elsewhere.
